The final match day of 2020 saw 10 teams play over the weekend

10 teams played this weekend as the final matches of an unprecedented year took place.

At Gynsill Lane the U8 Foxes continued their good run of results as they played Carib and they'll be moving up to Level 4 from January. The U11 Hawks scored some good goals in their game against Saffron Dynamo, opposition who they'll face again in their first game of the new year. The U10 Foxes also ended a great year for them on a high as they saw off Quorn in an end-to-end game.

There were two games at South Charnwood over the weekend as the U13 Hawks played a friendly against Blaby & Whetstone on Saturday and put in a good performance against a side from a higher division and running out 4-2 winners. The U16 Foxes played their first game since November's lockdown but lost 10-3 to table-toppers Coalville.

Away from home the U8 Hawks made the short trip to Groby and edged a close game with lots of goals while the U9 Hawks also had a close game in their friendly at Allexton. The U11 Vixens put in a positive performance in their match at an experienced Greentowers, while the U11 Foxes had a Sunday to forget from their game at Asfordby. The U18's were the only 11v11 side to play on Sunday and came away with a very creditable 3-1 defeat to a strong Coalville side, holding them to a draw until the last 10 minutes of the game.
